The programme of activities to support the Copus Grant Schemes includes a number of workshops and other events.

Previously, Copus ran a number of events for the wider science communication community.

Copus Grant Schemes 2003/4 Pre-application Workshops
London, 3 October 2003
Bristol, 7 October 2003
Birmingham, 8 October 2003
Edinburgh, 13 October 2003

We ran four pre-application workshops to enable potential applicants to find out about the Schemes.

The aim of each workshop is to assist applicants in improving the quality of the applications submitted for the Copus Grant Schemes 2003/4. Each workshop includes a briefing on the Copus Grant Schemes 2003/4 and workshop sessions on topics relevant to the award criteria and funding priorities, including participation and evaluation.

Attendees are expected to be considering making an application to the Schemes. Whilst we anticipate that the workshop will be generally useful to attendees who later decide not to apply, we recommend that the Terms and Conditions are read before booking.

A timetable for a specimen workshop is as follows (please note this is subject to change):
1230 – 1330 Buffet networking lunch and registration
1330 – 1400 Overview of the Copus Grant Schemes
1400 – 1500 Workshop Session 1
1500 – 1530 Coffee break and networking session
1530 – 1630 Workshop Session 2
1630 – 1700/1730 Further advice, Questions, close.

Places are strictly limited. No charge is made for the workshop. Venue locations will be confirmed to attendees.
