Out and about: organising public events; a collection of case studies from the COPUS grants scheme

Published: 1998
ISBN: 0854035184
32 pages, A4
Corporate Author: COPUS

A collection of case studies from the Copus grants scheme in which the project organisers tell their story, sharing their
experiences and offering advice on the pleasures and pitfalls of
planning activities.

The Out and about case studies demonstrate how public events
on science, engineering and technology themes can prove an
attractive alternative, competing with other choices for people’s
leisure or extracurricular time.

Please note that as funding priorities have changed, projects described may not qualify for a Copus grant. Other sources of funding may be available.
