postal strikes: Update 3

The Royal Mail have advised us that collections and deliveries
in all areas of the UK affected by the local unofficial industrial
action will resume shortly. The closing date for the Copus Grant
Schemes 2003/4 remains as stated in the application materials: 6pm
local time on Monday 10 November 2003, but with some special provisions
due to the exceptional nature of this strike. Read

Central London and various other areas of the UK are suffering
local, unofficial industrial action, which is delaying or preventing
mail from being sent or delivered. This includes the Royal Society,
