Introduction

Access Mars utilises the spectacular level of Mars exploration over the next eighteen months and the prescence of the Beagle 2 Lander Operations Control Centre at the National Space Centre, to facilitate unique opportunities for dialogue about British space priorities, and for encouraging people into space related careers.

  DEMOCS - Deliberative Meetings Organized by Citizens

Introduction

DEMOCS are a new method of public involvement, in the form of a kit that can equally well be used in a public meetings or in people's homes. The purpose of the project is to test their suitability for use by agencies doing consultation on science issues.
